This tiny 2.9 x 1.4 x 0.9" flashlight produces a whopping 43,000 cd throw of 475 meters! Its lovely beam provides good light nearby (flood), while lighting up distant scenes with its intense spot beam. It is beautifully made and a joy to use. With its longer tube, it can be used with an 18650 battery if a longer runtime is important.

Emisar D4S

This small 4.1 x 1.5 x 1.3" flashlight produces a whopping 4300 lumens of light with an excellent throw of about 450 meters. It has an optional magnetic tail cap. And it has ice blue LEDs behind the emitters that make it glow in the dark, a unique and wonderful feature. These blue LEDs can be set to off, low, high or beacon. The body of the light can be ordered in this green color, or in flack or grey. The LED-glow lights come in either this ice blue, green, amber or red. What fun!

Manker MK34

This popcan sized (3.9 x 2.2") flashlight produces a blindingly bright 6800 lumen light. I love its shape and its always lit, pulsing button.

This is my favorite thrower. It is not small, at 7.4 x 3.4", but it produces an amazing beam throw of 1338 meters. I love its shape, steel bezel and always glowing button.

This rather small (4.1 x 1.7") flashlight produces an intense 1500 lumen throw of 520 meters. It is one of my favorite throwers.

Niwalker MiniMax 72 Jr

This is a wonderful and innovative flashlight. It offers both flood and throw, like zooming flashlights. But unlike boomers, with this flashlight you can select flood or throw or both with a single button push. It provides two throw emitters and one deep smooth throw emitter, and a 3 button operation that is nicely programmable. This light provides up to 12,000 lumens of intense light as well as 850 meters of throw, but is only 5.6 x 2.6 x 2.2".

Noctigon M43 Meteor

This popcan sized (3.9 x 2.5 x 2") powerhouse produces 8350 lumens of blinding light with a good throw of 410 meters. I love its finish, shape and size, and especially its always on backlit mode button.

Olight X7R Marauder

At 12,000 lumens and only 5" tall, this flashlight is a popcan sized powerhouse. It has a mode switch that glows when the light is moved (motion activated), and a clever USB-C charging port in its tail cap that is exposed by twisting the cap. The blue accents are lovely and the lanyard attachment pulls out for easy access and compactness. Overall, one terrific light!
